Searching For Mr. Kaushik
36:50

In 1968, Bob Wilks left a small town in Michigan to serve in the Peace Corps in India for two years. He documented much of his experience with an 8mm movie camera. Thirty-five years later, his daughter, Stephanie, traveled to India to volunteer for a non-governmental organization. She suggested he visit her and return, for the first time, to the country that had so profoundly influenced his life. Father and daughter decided to travel to the village where Bob had lived to see if they could find an old friend and neighbor. This is the story of that search. It is also the story of how, often unknowingly, children influence their parents and parents influence their children.
